We provide a safe, faith-based place for women who are living in chaos and have neglected their own needs—because they are helping to fight the battles of loved ones dealing with addiction or mental health issues, or they are wrestling in the grief of lost expectations for their children or husbands.
Our retreats are designed to offer these women rest, hope, spiritual encouragement, and connection so that when they return home they are more equipped to navigate life’s next challenge with strength and courage.
We want to guide thousands of women in creating new legacies for their families that inspire future generations to see God’s faithfulness—so they can not only face life’s battles, but empower others to do the same.
Nancy is the Founder and Executive Director of Just Be Held Ministries. She has a passion for walking with women who are hurting due to the chaos and pain in their lives. Nancy is that hurting mom and wife who has helped her family members navigate through the pain of addiction and mental illness, as well as battling through her own issues of accepting that her child is a part of the LGBQT+ community. She has taken life's chaos and pain and turned it into an opportunity to glorify God.
Nancy is married with four adult children and a granddaughter. She loves coffee dates with girlfriends (well, coffee in general), movies, nature, and travel.
